Asterix Books / Comics - How to Value Them? Why do prices vary widely?

I've got a collection of old Asterix books/comics that I am trying to value. But looking on the internet there seem to be so many different releases it's hard to know what they might (or might not) be worth.

Does anyone more familiar with this kind of thing have any tips please?

https://www.cbcscomics.com/comics-grading-scale is one I am familiar with. There seem to be a large number of different grading sites, but many have similar criteria. Condition is obviously key.

 

what language ? what editor ? what year ? where do you want to sell ? etc..
easiest is ebay sold ones to get an approximate idea.

 

Ebay sold listings is a good place to start once you sort of figure out what condition your items are in.

 

is there an international grading system ?
