IMG_1255.JPG IMG_1256.JPG IMG_1257.JPG The holes, do you think they are just part of the decoration or may have some use? I can see placing a small incense burner on the top and sticks in the holes.

These are for vases or jardinieres. I think the holes are just part of the decoration. I have several and they're all a little different.

The central hole makes me think this started life as part of a Chinese vase lamp, the wire would go through the hole.
The other holes are just for decoration.

The centeal hole is too small for a lamp rod. A lot if those srands have it, maybe it helped working the piece.

I think that the central hole may have been for the electric cord.
