asian scholar figurines, what do the marks mean?

    The marks are zhuanshu script seal type marks but I don't recognise them. These look rather like the plaster mould kits you used to get in the 70's to make and then paint your own figures.

    New dirt on Chinese porcelain means recent. Friendly faces, but no real quality.
    They are not scholars, btw, they are dressed as officials with 'court necklaces'.
