Asian Porcelain Teapot

Hi, all! Can anyone tell me anything about this teapot? Where is it from and about how old it is? Is there a name for the decoration or a pattern name? It's about 5" tall.

I'm thinking this isn't Asian at all. A better look at the blue and white decor might change that.

 

not any asian I've ever seen here..... & I see a lot of pottery here !!

I also think Asian, but fairly recent. The blue design and light blue wash make me think Asian (China, Japan) and the green mottled effect is a contemporary decorative feature. JMHO.

If not, it's really, REALLY RARE!!!! Right??? LOL. I tried to find something similar, too. That's what brought me here because I couldn't find anything to help identify it.

 

and that's what made me think it was ' local ' to your area.
