I have 4 of these plates that measure 4 1/2" across. Looking at Google lens an auction site lists these as Chinese, a person on Ebay thinks they may be Japanese Arita. Can anyone translate the mark?

This is definitely Japanese. According to my internet search, the name inscribed (光峰) could be pronounced either Mitsumine or Koho. I see porcelain with one or the other or both names. I don't know enough about Japanese or Japanese porcelain to tell you more. But there seems to be another Mitsumine porcelain with a different first character: 三峰.

Thanks Gckimm. Found out these are soy sauce dishes.
