Asian ? Block ? Print

I may be totally wrong but this looks to me like a map with Japanese calligraphy.
What do you think!

 

Can someone confirm if this is actual Chinese or Japanese cursive script or they are just scribbles?
I thought at one point that this could be some sort of the map of China but the borders don't quite match.

 

Looks sinilair to a map, but is it? Some scribles also look Asian to me. But Chinese or Japanese don't wright like that. They will make sure everything is readable. If it is than even a expert in calligraphy will have difficulties reading this.

Will keep an eye on this topic. I'm very curious what the outcome will be.
