Here's a piece I hauled out of the garage-bought it years ago. It's 22" tall by 18" wide made by Imperial.
I'm thinking about refreshing it w/ Howard Restor A Finish or Howard Feed & Wax-any suggestion ? Thanks !
PS-Table not crooked, that's wanky camera lens.

Cute as a button! I don't know where the decal is located, but you may want to avoid that unless you don't mind if it lifts off. The MOST I would do would be a Formby's touch up, very light. The wood looks old, like it will suck up much oil, so go light. You can always do it again in a few months after the finish settles in.

Thanks all for the help. The decal's on the reverse side of the table top and I'll avoid it like the plague.
I def want to be the least invasive re disturbing the original finish, but would like to freshen it a bit w/o harming it's integrity or value.

Decals are so significant on Arts & Crafts,a closeup of one of the first pieces we ever bought (mid 80's)-

Have always felt Imperial A&C furniture to be underrated. Very nicely made with good hardware. I don't think the Howard's will hurt this but try not to get it too shiny. A coat of paste wax might be all it really needs.

Thanks Brad-Is Restore Wax & Feed fairly gentle and not too shiny ? If not bees/paste wax is the way to go.

Have never used the Restore Wax and Feed. If you have it on hand, you could always try it on the underside.

Yes, I forgot "Howard's" replaced Formby's at some point! I'd stopped refinishing furniture by then. We had the same idea not to over-do the finish. I've never used beeswax, bosko, please let us all know how this turns out. Eventually! :)
