Another pre auction piece. Unfortunately I only was able to get IMG_20190613_124115268-2137x1603.jpg IMG_20190613_124120234-2137x1603.jpg these two pictures taken quickly. What's your initial thoughts on it and can you decipher this signature?

    Duplicate Thread.

    @Atlantic Jim
Next time no one responds, all you need do is type something such as "Bumping Up"
This will bring your post back to the top of the forum for others to see. No need to start a new thread. It only confuses matters when people respond on different threads.

Keep in mind that people come and go all day from all parts of the world. Sometimes you need to wait a day.

Unfortunately, your picture of the signature doesn't give us much to go on. You needed to take a straight on shot rather than angled.
Probably why you didn't get any help.

From what I can see, doesn't look like a bad little painting.

    I think that's a reasonable contention.

As a general reminder, when posting paintings, always post a picture of the back, the full frame, and the sig from multiple angles. Including dead straight on.

Believe it or not comments like this are actually helpful with these pre auction art pics. I have been very hit or miss with art in the past.

Little info about this collection I've been posting (and a few I haven't but still researching on my own) - it's coming from an extremely high end NY home however I'm starting to think even though the art is expensively framed and there's about 500 pieces, not kidding, most are decorative or local artists with no major followings.

It's been an interesting learning experience

This would not surprise me. I hope you are getting well paid to part with their stuff for them? I wish someone would come along and help me to sell all of the art I've made and collected through the decades! :cat:

I'm a sucker for this type of piece, but strongly prefer dark wood frames.

High end NY home, means very little .
It's the art work that speaks volumes !!!

The well off....like to stay well off....and will include tourist items from their travels, and art of all stripe that they got gifted or just find interesting, in their collections.

Just cuz a cat had her kittens in an oven.....don't make em' biscuits !!!! :playful::playful::playful:

OH......& my comments are my opinions..... not in any way personal , but involving only the artwork.
Jivvy likes the work..... I don't.....& we're both right !
Honesty is the main overriding concern here... !
