Featured Artisan Rarrings- what can you tell me about them?

    So....these were a whole $2, just picked them up for fun. Upon closer inspection, I noticed the one back that was there was marked sterling. I polished them, and noticed a signature on the back. Anyone recognize the artisan? What style would this be called? Do you see gold plating on the front? Back looks like copper plating.     Hard to tell from the photos of the front,looks like both were over heated and have melted areas.Can't tell what the metals are from the photo.

    Yes, the front gold has spots....not sure about melted areas, I don't think I got all the silver polish off, don't want to scratch up the golden areas. I just think they are funky and will wear them, reminds me if India or Bali style jewelry.
