If I recall correctly this is a relatively new option possibly instituted about the middle of last year.

 

I assume there is a safety on this thing so good thing they were ignorant of what it was......how?

Sorry folks, no M203 grenade launchers for sale today... On a site note, this is one of the funnest weapons I’ve practiced with (the real version), the round itself “self arms” through rotation after the round is fired and it doesn’t make a loud noise when being fired. They used to make these as a solo item, and now they come equipped as a lower attachment to the modern M16:
