Art Nouveau style vase.

Hi all

I purchased this vase just over a week ago and
have been unable to find one that matches it,
the leaf pattern on the vase has four sleeping
figures on it.

It is 20.5cm tall by 9cm at its widest point, the
marks on the base are the letters DJ below which
is an unreadable signature under this are the letters
KMS see photos.


I would really be pleased if it could be identified for
me and a value estimate given.

Wow, it is a beautiful piece but can't help with age or maker. Wait for others....

Meanwhile, if you have a chance, go back and edit your photos to be "FULL IMAGE".

Carved cameo glass in the style of Galle, but I'd think a newer art piece. Very well done.

There was a Kim Morgan working at Okra, but this doesn't look typical of their pieces.

Hi all

Here is the update on my vase as promised, i
posted it on Glassmessages as advised by ownedbybear. they told me it was probably made by Kim Morgan who was working for Okra.
Although i am unable to find a work of hers
like mine i believe they are correct.
They gave me a link showing the Okra signature which is a positive match with
the one on mine.

It's a pretty decent lump, that. Cameo glass is extremely difficult to make well, and very time consuming.
