Bottom needed. It's not typical of Japanese glass.

It is pure 80s ... and are we sure it's glass?

    Hi
Thank you all for your comments - very much appreciated. Your theories of the art glass being 1980's fits in with the approx age of the Mdina glass which was in the same auction lot.
I will certainly post a couple of pics of the bottom of the vase in case that helps with the possible identification.
Please bear with me as this is the first time I have used this forum and am not sure how to upload the photos for you to look at. - I will try, but it may be tomorrow before I succeed.
Look forward to hearing from you all again soon

If you look at Support & testing and introductions Forums, there are tips on posting photos.
Or you could just tell us here what problems you are having.
Generally it is the size. Must be 1 mb or less. Depending on what device you are using, you can usually resize.

    Hi again
I have managed a couple of photos.
The bottom and also photo looking inside held up to the light.
It has come out looking quite pink but in reality it is more purple in colour.
As you can see it is clearly glass.
    Any help with id appreciated.
    Thanks

I suspect reasonably recent decent quality Asian. Absolutely not Mdina anyhow.
