Art Glass Seahorse

    I think it might be Brazilian glass (from the base), but that's very tenuous. With no label it will be difficult to nail down unless you luck into another online.

    I believe there was a Brazilian company that used a Murano Glass label. I'm sure I've seen that label.

    Interesting article.
    What is it with the base that hints Brazilian origin? It is a flat, ground and polished base. But that's not very clear from the picture.

    The Brazilian pieces (not seahorses) I've seen have had similar solid, sculpted, clear glass bases with polished bottoms. Well... a thing like that has to stand on something; that's why I say it's tenuous.
