Well, I could be cynical and say that anyone who uses a cartoon redneck truck as his avatar might be just a teeny weeny eensy bit of a closet chauvinist.

 

I think all of us are a tad chauvinist deep down - it's probably a seep-seated defense mechanism.
But that doesn't mean that thoughts that pop into our heads, have to come out of our mouths (or fingers, as the case may be).

Hmmm... Could you? Could it also be that 5 guys in my car club built him and they/we/I am proud that Disney picked him as the best and most correctly built Mater in the world? Could it be that his existence has raised many thousands of $ for sick children? Maybe it's some of that.
