    Hello everyone,

I found this bisque doll at a thrift shop today. I really don't know much about vintage/antique dolls, so I am hoping someone here might be able to help or advise on the date of manufacture and its possible valuation. Any help would be much appreciated.

The head is is marked "AM 351. /4k Germany" which I understand is an Armand Marseilles piece. The legs, arms and body are also bisque. Nicely detailed with blush painting. Condition looks amazing. It is roughly 14 inches in length.

    Thanks for your time.

    Justin

From your photos it appears to be a reproduction.

Thank you for sharing your expertise.

I did so additional research last night and came to the same conclusion. I also notice a small faint pen mark on the back of the head that read "Joan 81" when I zoomed in. My understanding is that these were made in doll making classes, with the students signing them when done.

    Thanks again.
