    Hi Everyone-
Found this pair of Weller Pottery "Roma" wall pockets. Height is about 7-1/4". They have an unusual shape in that they're quite slender. They look like automobile bud vases which also came in pairs. They're the right size and shape. No brackets. But what do you think? You never hear about pottery car vases but why not? They're from the period. I see nothing in the available literature but it seems coincidental and got me thinking. Any thoughts are welcome. DSCN6472.JPG DSCN6473.JPG DSCN6474.JPG DSCN6475.JPG

JMHO, I think wall pockets. I don't think car vases are flat on back. I think they are rounded and fit into a holder, I don't think they would have a hole on the back.

They do look like the Roma wall pockets in my Weller book.
