These are the three tapestries I picked up (literally) at dog rescue centre. My wife doesn't want them so I will put them on Ebay, unless you can somewhere better, to pass them on to somebody who might get pleasure from them?

I would appreciate some sales spiel, period, age, condition, anything you can glean from the photos. I know nothing. Thank you.

    Size: 33cm x 44cm.

You can search for "jacquard tapestry" in this forum for previous discussions of this type of textile.

Here is one of my previous posts concerning these -

The scenes on similars are typically old tyme-y rather than old time.

Thank you all for your help and advise. I'm bit shocked by prices. I was only going to ask €5 for the three; but will increase the height of my horizon, although not by much.

No. It wouldn't have been worth the effort; but I wouldn't have liked to bin them if somebody else could have used them. After this thread and looking at the delcampe sale, I've decided on €45 the three or €18 each. That's four hours work on minimum wage in the UK. That's the equivalent 18 x 400g tins of Winalot class dog wet food - chunks of chicken in jelly.
