My mother in-law passed away recently, and we found these baskets among her things.
She was a member of the Isleta Pueblo. She had many NA items (some if you may recall the San Juan olla pot that I restored https://www.antiquers.com/threads/pueblo-blackware-pot-restore.62831/

We are wondering about these baskets. She did travel a lot, and she was the kind of lady who bought from roadside vendors, just because she liked to help people. So there's no telling where she got them.
    The coiled basket measures 6"x4".
    The spikey one measures 4.5"X3".
I know you all are so knowledgeable and I appreciate any help to ID these baskets.

Think the experts will tell you the second, porcupine one is NA. Don't know about the first.

I'm very sorry for your loss, stracci. I remember you saying she wasn't well.

The baskets are really nice, especially the porcupine one.
She sounds it, with a big heart, and an eye for beauty.

Sorry for your loss, stracci. Sad to lose another elder.

The first basket looks Tohono O'odham (Papago), as @Roaring20s suggested

I agree with @komokwa on the second one.

Thanks to everyone for all your responses! @pearlsnblume @Bronwen @Aquitaine @Boland @Any Jewelry

I'm happy to hear that they are indeed NA baskets.
She took some road trips to Arizona, and I wouldn't be surprised if she bought the coiled one from a roadside stall or from a seller on the sidewalk outside of a diner. She was very compassionate and generous.
    Thank you @Roaring20s and @2manybooks

How she came to own the Mi'kmaq basket is more of a mystery.
Thanks to @komokwa for the ID on this!;):joyful:
