Hello all you helpful folks! What era are these from? 1950's perhaps or earlier. The pins are 1 3/4" long and the screwback earrings are lust under 3/4". Very lightweight so some sort of pressed metal. I thought pot metal but have a really nice shine. Opinions/advice? Excuse the lint. Thanks in advance for looking. DSCN0624.JPG DSCN0623.JPG

Most I can definitively say is they aren't likely silver. I'll be waiting for someone with better knowledge to comes round.

Oh, these are nice -- to me they seem more recent than 1950s but who knows? There are many members here who are experienced at dating by the findings.

    I get a more 1960s vibe.
The two pins may be called "scatter pins", meaning a set of small pins meant to be worn together.

The two small pieces are actually screwback earrings. The larger items are the pins. Would they still be considered scatter pins?

If they are super light weight as mentioned, probably stamped metal. (I think that is the term, or maybe "pressed metal" as you said.)

I agree with dating of 1950s-60s. I think the big selling point with these is that they are HANDS. Jewelry made with that super light weight metal isn't terribly high end, but people love HANDS in costume jewelry. If you are selling I would keep the earrings and pins together.

Thanks to all for input. Yes, I do plan on selling and keeping them together.

Yes, I knew that the two smaller hands were the earrings. Even though the pins are a bit large for "scatter" pins, I'd still call them that since they (both pins) were likely meant to be worn together... along with the earrings.

I think they are still small enough to qualify as scatter pins. A very attractive set, and I agree with the 50s, possibly 60s, date.
