I have a pair of what I think are cut glass mustard pots with sterling tops. The silver has been polished over the years so it's hard to read the marks. There is an etched lion crest on the larger one. When I searched online it looks to be from the George II period, late 18th century. The hallmarks are very worn off but I can see the lion shape. The glass is chipped at the bottom which probably lowers the value a lot. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks!

There don't appear to be an George II duty marks. These are George III (the second version, so perhaps that's a misunderstanding?)

I've found a few similar crests online. They must have belonged to a wealthy family back then. I know my relatives could never have afforded them; they were probably peasants on the family's land!!!!
