Are these chairs anything special?

    These were my father’s chairs, he passed away over 10years ago and I have been storing them always remembering he believed they were worth something.
    But I had to move out of my home suddenly and need to decide what to do with them.
    Does anyone have any advice?

    Office chairs from about 1950, give or take. Not worth a lot in this condition.

    they are sometimes called captain's chairs.

    They have a nice design. But it will cost a bit to re cover, unless you know how to do it yourself.
