Are some cast iron bank reproductions "scarce"?

I know "rare" is a term for very rare conditions for items, and scarce is used when items are more available.

I have this reproduction of a cast iron bank, and looking for it online, I found it under "J.E. Stevens Co. Cast Iron No. 335 “Indian Camp Bank” Mechanical Bank".

I've also seen it listed as "INDIAN SQUAW BANK. I couldn't find online listings of those terms but did find them under "Chief Big Moon" lol It's interesting how the bank received two additional names. I did find five current online for $40 to $75. So far none under sold. Sold mechanical bank reproductions can sell for very little.

I know nothing about this field of cast iron banks.

Are some cast iron bank reproductions actually fairly "scarce"?

The original of this sold for $24,000.

komokwa The Truth is out there...!

"INDIAN SQUAW BANK....... is now considered a racist term.....so it's used has diminished ..!

Rare...is a term for cooking meat...
    Scarce.....is more accurate

the reproductions are never the same quality as the originals.....but folks still collect them....

the base can be a good source of information , if marks are present....

With out of reach prices for many people on the antique examples, the early repos from the 50s have a collector following (casting quality is important). Many Asian ones I've seen have terrible casting and will have a low value IMO.
