Approximate age on this spelter statue?

Hi just wondering what the approximate age of this spelter statue is.
The timber base and nut looks to me to be too old to be post war.
I have given it a clean to remove the grime and dust build up.
What do people think?
By the way the darker colour on the bottom of the base is just water from just after the cleaning not a stain or lacquer.

Yes but this is not necessarily an original from the time he was alive.
There's loads of spelter figures by Moreau and bronze ones also for much more money

 

Yes the timber looks potentially old enough
