Anyone Want These Little Silver Things???

These approx. 2" long silver pieces (fish, tortoise, and 2 identical shells) are made my Pamaloni of Firenze. They originally came as "charms", in the middle of rather fancy powder room hand soaps. The soap is long gone (though I have a few more!), and this is what I was left with...........and I DO NOT NEED THEM............

They have a series of marks on the bottom which I have NOT researched, but I assume tha they are weighted silver plate, but COULD be weighted sterling. The four pieces weigh just under 1/2 lb (gram scale not working!!!) but I have no printer so I have to ship via Priority Mail (they will be over 13oz packed). Shoot me $7 and I'll get send them to you the next time I go to the PO.

IF you only want 3 pieces (less one shell - the tarnished one!!!) I can get them wrapped in bubble in padded envelope for $4.00 First Class Parcel (I think).

Are you going to do a drawing if there are multiple expressions of interest? Or will the first person who expresses interest be the one who receives them?

 

OOPS! I forgot to mention - I'll follow the usual format.............if more than one person wants them I'll have to draw from a chapeau.............

Okay! I shall be incredibly organized about this. I got out my trusty little note book and wrote down the names so far. NOW, the only challenge on my end will be to find the notebook when I need it and to read what appears to be Farsi, but is actually my handwriting.....................

 

They're electroformed, basically the electrodeposit of a heavy layer of silver over a mold (most likely resin for these). They're quite sweet, please put my name in too...

Just a question...I have never heard of "charms" inside of soaps....was this very popular ? New to me...

 

It is/was a novelty from Pampaloni's gift line (they are a chi-chi silversmith in Italy). I have a few (uncertain as to exact count) still new in the box, and If I think of it later I will post a photo - I have to replace the one in my power room in any case.

 

Here are some photos of what these look like as soap. My memory wants to say that we bought these (and TON) of other Pampaloni silver at Fiorucci’s in New York. And some of the black boxes are faded so that is a possibility. On the other hand I am selling a pair of wine coasters by Pampaloni that is still in their catalogue, so they could be "younger" than I remember.






Note: the last one is a lady bug - there is NO lady bug in my offering. Looks like the turtle in my offering is the last turtle. I have been giving away the silver "charms" for years and now have no idea how many I had originally. Looks like I have about a dozen left.
