Ok I believe this pulley thingy is made to go on an I beam but I really do not know what to call it. I have seen beam trollys but they normally have the rollers made to ride the beams. The clamp on top is made to fit up to a 12" beam. Any ideas what the correct name for this would be?

I'm guessing it rides just like that but for only a short distance. It could be for something that locks into the 'fingers'. Perhaps a heavy tool of some kind that needed to be moved along an assembly type line...or aalong a lrg object.
