Featured Anyone know the age of this piece?

Hello all, i found this nifty little porcelain puppy dog and i bought it,im curious about the age. It has no markings at all,it has very slight crazing but it is in excellent shape otherwise. It is appx.5" tall 2 1/2" wide and 5" in length. It looks like it has been blackwashed,i guess that' what you would call it. Any he l.p. would be appreciated thank you.

 

There have been other animals just like this here so someone should know.

 

There is one from ebay that looks like yours with some info on where the seller thinks it's made and the age etc. The seller is actually a member of these forums so if they check in you might get more info. @crowleys

If you go to edit and put your cursor at the lower right of your last photo you can backspace out the dupes.

 

Certainly looks to date from the 1950s.
