Anyone heard of Philipp Plein? Discontinued(?) shirt - image made of bumps or rhinestones?

    I found this t shirt - with the tags attached! - and when I looked the name up I saw his t shirts were selling for $100's!!

    2 questions please - does anyone recognize the figure? I've looked through pages of images but can't find this one. I've also tried using the style number on the tag (TPPO47-7) and M'I from his hat. Could it be a play on Mickey Mouse?

    Also what do I call the bumps the image is made of? I don't think they're rhinestones?

    PS - If no one know who the figure is I understand - but please someone tell me correct name for what the image is made of? Also, it's a guy's shirt, right? (unless they are rhinestones then it's probably a ladies?)

    Google this guy and look at the prices ! I never heard of him until I came across this t shirt today - but you can bet I'm going to be looking for more of his clothing from now on!!

    The bumps look like puffy paint to me. Unless they are fastened from the other side? Then they might be studs.

    I looked with a magnifying glass - they are small chrome and black pieces with prongs - is that a stud?
