I showed these on the finds thread, but now I'm looking for info. Because these figurines are "dressed", access is unavailable to the portion that would hold any maker's mark or number. Looking for maker and date:

I have looked through my Vol. 1 The Half-Doll by Shona & Marc Lorrin and see neither of the examples you are questing. Sorry!

1920s/30s on the porcelain. Odds are they were made in Germany. The fabric bits could have been added elsewhere. The first one looks like Mme Pompadour, or someone supposed to look like her. The second one is odd to say the least. She's wearing a 30s cloche hat and early 30s clothes, but she's sitting in a fake 18th century French skirt. Toilet roll covers?

Not toilet roll covers. The first has a pin cushion body, the second has a cloth draped conical wire frame.

The second one might be called a pierrot, because of the way the eyes are done.

I think she is meant to be a lamp shade.

First one is probably German as evelyb suggested.

I would be suspect on the second one. It may be Japanese or possibly repro.
Look at the way the hands are done. Fingers should be better defined.
