anybody know anything about this or a value? the ribbon says "imperial camp No. 1171 crescent city 3"

 

I haven't come up with an answer for R N of A, but this Crescent City is in Illinois (thus the abbreviation.)

I just realized you called this "a war medal." It's not. It's a membership badge/pin for whatever the R.N. of A. is. These would have been worn at conventions or other meetings attended by members from multiple locations (thus the Camp No. 1171 on the badge.)

ya i saw my spelling error after i posted it i meant medal not metal this has been quite helpful thank you i picked it up at a local auction last year with some other items & had no idea what it was so thank you very much
