I need help with IDing the maker on this pipe. It came from an estate, the other pipes have all been dated to 1920s to 30s so guessing this one is the same. But the only makers mark on it is a V in an oval on the stummel. I have found a couple of makers that have a circle with a V on the stem, but not on the shank. Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks, but I have perused this site many times, I can't find this mark anywhere. It's perplexing!
