Any One Know What These Are Called?

    They're 14k and some sort of stone (blue topaz?). Looks like they slide on the back of a stud or solitaire to jazz it up some.

    I've looked under any term that I would think could describe them to no avail.

    Either or both. I call them "melt-mes".(LOL) They're modern without a distinctive style or maker.

    Thanks everyone! I never would have guessed jackets or enhancers.

    I thought maybe embellishments or cups, but those were a no-go.

    They actually have the maker on them, but these eyes (even with the loupe) just can't quite make out the letters. I'll probably try again though before I list.

    Found the stamp that's on them - it's for J.M. Fox Jewelry.

    Not a well-known name, but I think I'm still going to try listing them before scrap.
