    Picked this up when we had our antique shop. I've always loved the frame but can't ID the date. I thought maybe the 1920s. It's about 13 12" x 19"

    It's a nice looking frame. There's sufficient asymmetry to make me think it is hand carved, probably by a right handed person. (Doesn't the curlicue on the right look more relaxed than on the left?) I don't know about the date... 1st half 20th C?

    I do wish I knew more about frames.

    I'd think 1920s was about right.

    Could be as early as the 20s but I think things like this were made right up to WWII. Dates are in-line with the popularity of these classical European prints.

    Definitely not symmetrical. I always intended to put something else in it but was too lazy.
