Any movie poster fans here?

I'm a junkie when it comes to movie posters. Our oldest pieces are probably our Spanish editions of Snow White and Sleeping Beauty.

We also have one for Gone With the Wind.

Anyone else collect these?

 

Had some, but gave them away. Big, double sided, Harry Potter posters. My nephew has them now. Or not, as the case may be.

I was doing the Euope-on-a-dollar-a-day thing when Star Wars was new. It seemed to me that each country had it's own take on this image:

I recently got one from the Close Encounters Special Edition that occurred in 1980. Long story short, this poster was actually OWNED by the guy who plays the 5 notes on the keyboard at the end of the movie!!

 

probably got most of the cuckoos nest ones, heres my mexican release one, posters rule by the way

'Trapped without Exit.' Sounds like a 1940s B movie. Oh, interesting... 'Atrapado sin salida' only in Latin America. The more faithful translation 'Alguien voló sobre el nido del cuco' in Spain.

I have a 90s poster for a movie called Fire in the Sky. It's signed by Henry Thomas, the guy who played Elliott in E.T.

To the point about bad movie translations, there's a movie with Henry Thomas in it that has nothing to so with E.T., but Spain promoted it as "Elliott" anyway, lol

 

Isn't trapped usually without exit?

 

Or a marriage counseling service (totally kidding)
