[IMG]Hi, I know absolutely nothing about this sort of stuff so I thought I'd ask here if anyone has any information about this snail I own. I don't know if this is the right place for this so apologies if I'm wrong. Snail is marked Goebel 35 101-19 (see image)

'W. Germany' gives a broad time frame. Did you acquire it new?

Can't be a very common piece. Found one sold on eBay last year but too old a listing to find the price. Mark was used between 1979 and 1990

Thanks for all the replies so far. I'm here to add a little info. The snail was bought second hand with no info along with it, so unfortunately someone with an untrained eye like me has little to go off of. Below I've attached some images with a tape measure, in Centimeters. They're not the best but hopefully they give some idea of scale, it is quite large.

That's crazy! Maybe it's partly because it looks so deliciously similar to a pastry!

I think perhaps it is a rare figurine. I have a large Goebel hedgehog, in a similar finish, that only cost me about $50 on eBay a couple of years ago.

Wow! Never would've expected it to be worth that much. I don't plan on selling it since I'm so fond of it, but it definitely feels even more special now! Thank you everyone!
