Featured Any information on green glass vase would be appreciated

    Bought this vase at a garage sale it is 24cm high and 13cm at the widest point the pontil mark is slightly rough and there are no markings. Would it be called a snake vase or does a snake vase have a definite snake head? Do you know who the artist was and the likely age. Thank you in anticipation Coral image.jpeg

    A close up photo of the bottom will possibly help the folks here ID the maker. Some companies finish their pontils very distinctively.

    Thought I had uploaded the pontil mark, I am not confident with computers but slowly learning. Anyway here it is, I hope it helps.

    The applied clear glass is called a rigaree. You can search using that term and vase to see if you find a match. A number of glass houses did that kind of work especially in England.
