Any info on this secretary desk, age, origin, anything appreciated TIA!

    My dad bought this 25 years ago at a flea market and I have received it due to downsizing. I would love to know more about it. No marks or labels anywhere.

    1890-something is my best guess. It's quarter-sawn oak but not arts and crafts, so late 19th to early 20th century. It looks American, but beyond that I haven't a clue.

    Would think 1910 neo-Renaissance quarter sawn oak. Heavily striated. Fall front. Beautiful. One of the best arguments I've seen lately for not painting furniture.
