Any info on this farmer and cow figurine appreciated

    One more item from a table lot. This one is unmarked and surprisingly heavy.

    I found a matching pair that sold for almost $600 and a single figure that sold for $16. I definitely need more info to id this piece.

    That is similar but isn't the same one. Staffordshire potters liked to copy each other, didn't they?

    Funny that they call the human figure in the one under the link a milkmaid. Seems to me to be in clothing that a male would wear.

    I think they posted the wrong picture on thepotteries. There was a matching milkmaid that I saw on worthpoint.
