Any ideas on the maker of these bisque plaques ?

    mcplaquemm.jpg mcplaqueblue1.jpg mcplaquepink1.jpg There are impressed numbers and a very faint blue mark at the top. They measure about 17" with the frames. Also, how would you describe the scenes? Are they from a known artist or what? Thanks for the input!

    Hi,
    Try Italy from the early 50's. Take that back late 20s early 30s. The later ones did not have wood frames, the frames were plaster gesso.

    mcplaqueblue5.jpg mcplaqueblue6.jpg Thanks Greg, I got more similar hits with german bisque plaques. Only somewhat similar were Italian plaster plaques. Photo of back attached.
