    I am jealous!!
But on the other hand even if I had the opportunity I guess it wouldn't work to go aboard for me ....the garage left a small replacement car, yesterday for my wife, who's car needed to be checked...it was in the middle of the our yard, so I thought of moving it....but I couldn't get in..... so left it where it was.:wacky:

If you have trouble getting around it's probably not a good idea and they may not even let you in though I suspect the displays would be worth it. It's cramped as they had to be fairly little to serve aboard. Worse when leaving port when the deck was covered in food tins and one of the 2 heads was crammed full too.
There may be a virtual tour online.

I know this is old but I've come back to this thing and am trying to research it again...

cxgirl, which book were you kind enough to have looked at for me? clutteredcloset49 already looked in the The Big Book of Cigarette Lighters, and I'm really hoping you have a copy of the Cummings Ronson book!

I'll have to try and find the book again, I can't remember the name of it but I know it wasn't the Ronson book.

cluttered is right, that is where the striker would go.
since you posted this I bought a Ronson Hound Dog striker lighter, that area looks the same as where the strike goes on mine

here it is with the striker in place

you add the fuel in the little well where the wand sits. Your wand is missing the batting, the Ronson Guys sells those and strikers (and other parts)

the batting was inside the tube, I had to pull it down

Here is my thread about the lighter
