Try Carole C. Howell. Some of her signatures look right, but I suspect this was a very early work of hers,if it is her. Are you by any chance in Texas?

I think Howell is a decent possibility.

Anybody know what the stamp is.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

To me the stamp looks like a flying owl (or some other bird) inside a rectangle. There is something to the left of the bird that I can't make out.

This could be imaginary, but thought I'd send it out for discussion.
