I got this brooch. As you can see, her tail is broken off. I want to restore this brooch but I can't find a similar one to show the shape of the tail. Help. 20220803_132427.jpg 20220803_132450.jpg 20220803_132541.jpg 20220803_132713.jpg

    Can't find other one either...
Seeing no trace of the missing end of the tail to have been fixed to the body or touching it, I think just a small pointy part will be enough for completing it.
How are you planing to restore it?

Betting that's not a hard fix for a decent jeweler, but also depending if you just want to fix to resell or fix to keep!!! COOL looking brooch!!!!:happy::happy:

I would think just extending it a few centimeters to finish the figure eight would work fine. Or finding a jeweler with vision and creativity to extend it beyond there in way they think works would be cool. If you don’t find another of course.

Is there a photo of the back side? It looks like the tail would be at least 30mm too long.

I agree, it would probably have been a figure 8, two loops rather than three.

Coiled snakes were a symbol of eternity, especially with the infinity coil. See also Ourobouros. Turquoise has meaning, too.
