antique prunus ginger jars

    any idea to the age of these? they are both a bit different, there seem to be many types around with obvious brush strokes, there is a similar one on ebay with the empty circle base mark claiming to be from the kangxi period, ive heard this was when that emperor decreed that pottery shouldn't get marked with his seal in case it got broken, could there be any truth to this? or modern reproductions, they dont have ming dynasty marks at least. i wonder if these ones are painted with an transfer outline and then someone colouring in the empty space $_57 (81).jpg $_57 (78).jpg $_57 (77).jpg $_57 (79).jpg
