Either not signed or the signature was cut. The canvas board is 20"x 16", so I guess a part of it was trimmed?
As to the age, early 1900's?
    Thanks

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

Well, it has the Hudson River Valley look, dated at least 50 years too late to have been in the pack (thanks to Debora's knowledge).
We had a similar-looking painting a while back (can't find it!) wherein was discussed some dynamics of similar scenes and frames/etc... anybody recall?
Is that a butte in the middle, and river islands? Pretty.
I guess we can agree that it's in oil.
    That's all I got. :)

    EDIT
Okay a little more... some similar scenes with buttes and islands, from Hudson artists.

That palisade is quite distinctive. Doesn't look quite right for the Hudson and water more like a lake than a river. Lake Superior perhaps?
