Antique metal container

    I'm not sure exactly what this piece is, and have done an extended amount of research and always seem to come up empty handed. Would anybody have any knowledge they'd share with me about this piece ? Thank you in advance.

    The one like @808 raver posted is used for glazing ceramics. You put glaze in the pot and blow through the straw. They're still made. Never seemed like a good idea to me (as a potter) ;-)
