Does anyone know where this duck may have come from originally? (It was an auction buy). It's 13.5" long, is beautifully carved, and has traces of old red and gold paint, plus the sequins. I thought possibly Indian?

Definitely Indian, the carving suggests 1950's or later, surprisingly the carving would have been better if earlier.
