    Good Day!

I acquired an antique desk and no nothing about beyond it appearing to be old and having a leather top.

Curious to see if anyone has any insight to the style & time period.

I am also trying to figure out a solution to hide/keep tidy my laptop, dock and wires. I was thinking about mounting a wall mount magazine rack on the side of the desk and let that be where the dock and laptop stay.

Any other ideas anyone could think of? I've scoured the web hand have fallen short on any additional ideas.

    Thank you for your time.

Hi @ZGonzz! Here are the general guidelines in getting your images posted in to the forum you want:

Each image MUST be UNDER 1 MB....
There are instructions on site here on how to reduce the size of your image, if that is the problem......you are allowed up to 10 images per post!!! Here are some links to the instructions:

Try emailing them to yourself as "medium" size, they should then be under 1 MB!

    If on the computer:

    If on an iPhone:

And if on an Android phone:

As an added note, when you have your photos LISTED, BUT BEFORE you hit POST, please click on the wording that says to "INSERT EVERY IMAGE AS FULL IMAGE" !! That way, we're not clicking on little thumbnails, but get to see all of the images full sized!! Thanks! Remember, it takes a bit for MOST new members to get the hang of it, but it's really quite simple once you get used to it!!!"

Classic traditional styling on this kneehole walnut desk; I'd guess it to be ca. 1890s. Looks great contrasting with the new tech.

Do I dare to drill a hole through the top of the desk or use two sided tape to mount a wall mount magaze rack to hold my tech?

Hate the idea of drilling a hole in something so old, but I will use this for another 30-40 years so I'll get use out of it for sure.

The best policy is never to do something to an antique that can’t be undone. I’d recommend that you find a workaround.
