    20190821_160141.jpg Good afternoon all,
I was wondering if anyone could help me with some info on this lamp I recently purchased.
I know nothing about it...but maybe the symbols on the side of this panel are a signature.
    Thank you

    Hi Enrica, and welcome!

Could you please take a couple more photos that show the entire piece?

    Is it electrified?

    Yes, with electricity. 20190821_171048.jpg 20190821_171027.jpg

Pretty interesting piece. The panels seem to depict different cultures from different time periods. Would think this from the 20s-30s with both arts and crafts and art deco influence. I am thinking European in origin. Where did you get it?

It's actually quite nice. The bulb holder looks to have been replaced, but it's hard to see what's going on there. Not sure if that yellow-orange thing is the bulb or part of the socket.

Even though the chain is defying the laws of physics, I've rotated this to give everyone's neck a break:

Would it be too much to ask for a shot of the inside? Without bulb(s), preferably.

To the extent I can see them, they all look like freely adapted figures of the sort you find on Greek pottery.

    Gave it a little wash.
Took off the electric part which was old and dangerous (in any case the electric was a replacement from the 70's...)to use...also because washing it would not have been clever. 20190822_092102.jpg

I bought it in Italy, so probably European.
I wondered if the scribbles on the first panel I posted is a signature...

Inside (I have to take pictures from far and then cut them to upload them...otherwise they are too heavy and won't be accepted.)

I'm not saying that is not a studio mark, but if it is, it's pretty cryptic.
