Featured Antique ironstone jug

    Another acquisition from yesterday's spending spree. An antique ironstone jug. It has a look of masons about it although the split handle and pattern inside the rim make me think otherwise...

    Thanks Debora. The serpent handle was quite common place on Masons jugs. I've not seen a split handle like this before though. I've struggled to find a similar example anywhere by anybody.

    The pattern inside the rim is quite a pretty detail.
