Antique (I think) Bench

    Hi friends,

    Does anyone recognize this? I figured I couldn't go wrong at $12 even though the springs are shot and upholstery worn.

    Oh it's about 43" x 22" x 17" and I'm guessing about 15-20 lbs.

    French style, I think possibly newer-ish . The carving is a little cruder than an older piece .Pretty thing,well worth 12 bucks.

    This one that sold on 1stDibs is very similar. Described as French Provincial Louis XV style carved window bench from the 1960's by an unnamed American maker. Asking price was $1,795 but who knows what it sold for. Using my standard 1stDibs price reduction calculation, probably around $350.
