Antique Hood Ornament???

    I found this lovely little hood ornament. At least that is what I think it is. Its about 6/12" tall and looks to be brass or maybe copper. It's a naked winged lady holding up something.     What's that on the base? Looks more like a seal to me.

    There seems to be some writing on the bottom too. Maker info?

    I'm not convinced that this was originally a hood ornament, especially now that we see there is only 1 hole for attachment to something else.

    She looks like she is coming out of a flower. I can't read the bottom. But it may have had two holes at one time and soldered over. There is a faint circle on the opposite side of the hole.
